CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Care Instructions

  • Abaca fibers are resistant to water damage. However, when soaked in water, fibers soften and the item might lose its shape. If the product gets wet, air dry on a flat surface.
  • For regular upkeep, you may spray fabric starch to retain its body. You can also spot clean with water or brush away dirt with an old dry toothbrush.
  • Fibers are prone to lint and pilling when used over time. Carefully snip out stray fibers to clean it out.

Handmade Quality

  • All our products are carefully handmade by artisans in the Bicol Region. Differences in size, shape, and color are natural and adds to the item's unique character and personality.

Reminders

  • Dyes may transfer when item is wet. Best not to use on rainy days.
  • Colors may fade over time but no need to worry! Although abaca fiber can be re-dyed, we do not recommend this process as it may affect the shape and soften the fibers. Abaca fibers are like wine, the more you use it and as it fades, it will reveal another layer of your bag's unique personality.
  • Bags may cause chafing to certain clothing fabrics.
